Rio 2016 unveils official logo!

Rio 2016 unveiled their official logo at a New Years celebration yesterday. I'm not quite sure what to think of it. At first I didn't "get" it, but I didn't hate it either. After spending a little time with it and reading a little more about it I can say I'm satisfied with it. I'm neither excited nor appalled by it. According to Rio 2016 the emblem represents the idea of "Harmonious Diversity" that is a part of their branding. I dig it and I'm sure it will grow on me over time. Congrats to Rio on their first big public step towards the 2016 Summer Games.

You can read more about the Logo and it's launch over at Google News.
