Created by the men behind Gorillaz - Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett - Monkey and his friends will be the faces of the BBC's Beijing Olympics coverage in the next few months.
The BBC has commissioned Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, the guys behind the Gorillaz, to create artwork and an original story for the BBC's coverage of the summer games in Beijing this year.
From the official BBC Blog... "A monkey is going on a journey to the East, and he wants you to come with him, because he's the figurehead for BBC Sport this summer as we head towards the Beijing Olympics...."
I think they look great! And I love that they are trying to think outside the box with their coverage.
